VICTORI[A A]VG Victory standing left, leaning her right hand on shield and holding palm over left shoulder. AGK (corr.) 5b. Cunetio -. Elmer 635 ('Cologne'). Normanby -. Extremely rare. Minor deposits and with the reverse struck very slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.

The standing Victory with a shield and a palm is among the rarest types of Marius: neither the Cunetio nor the Normanby hoard contained a single example!
